Model SVR Series -Electronic Voltage Stabiliser
The SVR Series was developed and brought to market by Claude Lyons in 2015. It is rapidly being recognised as the next generation of voltage stabilisation, eliminating the need for regular maintenance. Manufactured in the U.K. for a World market, the SVR range of single and three-phase AC Voltage Stabilisers is designed so the electronic control system is separate from the main supply path, thereby ensuring a highly reliable design without compromising accurate control.
The SVR series is an EVS solution, utilising a thyristor technology, non-contact, non-moving parts voltage stabiliser system. The SVR range offers outstanding performance, without the need for the regular maintenance required for other systems on the market. SVR units give you more than 100,000 hours (11 years+) continuous operation without servicing.
Our electronic voltage stabilisers utilise a sophisticated microcomputer control system to continually monitor the supply voltage, sensing at 64 points per cycle, and adjusting the output via fast switching of SCR modules between windings of buck boost transformers.
These are typically used to maintain the supply to within +/- 2.5% (with 1% available). We offer a wide range of units available from stock, we can also build to your particular specifications. Options range from 20kVA to over 3000kVA in both single-phase and three-phase applications, with various input swing options of up to 50%, for input supply voltages up to 450 Volts.
SVR systems are housed in bespoke well-ventilated, robust steel cabinets. We have in-house engineering and design services available to complement our manufacturing facilities, should you require a bespoke solution. Whether your requirement is IP00 to integrate within your existing systems, special enclosure designs or specific customised options, we can offer the solution for you.
Three-phase assemblies comprise of three single-phase stabiliser units, star connected in a single cabinet. This provides individual correction of each phase, ensuring balance, even with unbalanced supply or load.
