Kaps - Model SDM -Examination Microscope for ENT Doctors
With the Kaps SDM examination microscope, we address the requirements of demanding ENT doctors who expect uncompromising optical quality in an economical and maintenance-friendly examination microscope.
The Kaps SDM establishes a new standard in the entry-level segment and impresses with its exceptional value for money. It combines outstanding optical precision with sophisticated functionality, enabling first-class diagnostic efficiency in daily practice.
Superior apochromatic optics
The high-quality Kaps optics not only deliver crystal-clear images, but also high-resolution details in natural colors. This apochromatic technology reduces chromatic aberrations and enables more precise diagnosis and treatment by making the finest structures and color differences visible in the examination area.
Advanced LEDone lighting system
This innovative system offers a number of advantages over conventional halogen light sources. It enables effortless and detailed work in daylight quality, which reduces eye fatigue and maintains concentration over longer periods. The noise- and vibration-free operation ensures a quiet working environment, while the long service life of 30,000 hours and the low energy consumption significantly reduce operating costs.
Flexible magnification system
The Kaps SDM offers a 3-step changer as standard, which can be expanded to a 5-step changer on request. In combination with the interchangeable lenses (200 mm to 400 mm) and the spectacle eyepieces with diopter adjustment, this enables individual adaptation to different examination situations and user preferences. The magnification factors range from 3.2x to 20x, covering a wide range of applications.
