WEXCO - Model The Filtrol -Filter
The Filtrol is a patented, reusable filter that attaches to your washing machine discharge hose. It removes non-biodegradable fibers like polyester, hair, sand, pet fur, and nylon from your washing machine’s wastewater, keeping it from going into and clogging your drainpipes. It preserves your plumbing and septic while also protecting the environment. The Filtrol has been featured in The Family Handyman magazine, on home improvement TV shows and network news programs. Laundromats and government facilities also use the Filtrol to help protect their systems.
The Filtrol keeps harmful, non-biodegradable fibers and materials like polyester, hair, sand, pet fur, and nylon from entering your home`s plumbing. Installed between the washer and the drain, the filter stores the various synthetic and harmful elements and allows water to drain freely.
With the various synthetic, non-biodegradable, and harmful materials removed, the washing machine`s wastewater is free to drain from the home and back into the water treatment process..
Maintenance of the Filtrol is minimal. Similar to the lint trap in your dryer, you’ll be able to see when the Filtrol’s filter needs to be cleaned. The filter is easily removed and can be emptied over a garbage can. The filter will last one to three years.
