Altura - Filter Elements
Graduated Density Polypropylene(DGD) Antibac Filter Element for Particle Retention. The filter elements with antimicrobial, antiviral and antifungal power are made of polypropylene microfibers using Melt Blown technology, acting to combat bacteria and viruses. The fibers are carefully expanded to form a gradual density from their outer surface to the core.
How it works?
Thanks to the technology developed by Hidrofiltros, bacteria and viruses, when in contact with the external part of the refill, are retained on the surface and die after a few hours.
The presence of a layer on the outside of the product indicates the presence of bacteria and viruses in the water and consequently the efficiency of the refill.
Particle retention occurs across the entire depth of the filter element in a graduated manner.
Why use?
Humid environments are favorable for the proliferation of bacteria. Including technology to retain these disease-causing microorganisms in water is essential for maintaining health.
Furthermore, the DGD Antibac line retains sediment, avoiding constant maintenance in the water tank and blockages resulting from dirt in the water.
