Finsa - Filter Fabrics
At Finsa we have a wide range of top quality technical fabrics for liquid and dry filtration , manufactured in our production plants in Terrassa and Kinna with machinery specially designed to weave and finish this type of fabrics. We have more than 100 references that differ from each other according to the mechanical characteristics of each one, such as weight, permeability, thickness and ligament, finished with secondary heat-setting and calendering treatments according to the application for which they are intended. . Our versatility allows us to adapt to each of our clients' industrial filtration processes, being able to offer the product that can give the best performance to the equipment (filter press, pressure band filter, vacuum band filter, disc filter, bag filter , etc.)
The materials used to manufacture our fabrics are basically: Polypropylene (PP), Polyamide (PA) and Polyester (PES), or a combination of these; We use three types of thread: monofilament, multifilament or staple fiber. These individual polymers, additives and shapes, together with the properties of the applied fibers, open up countless possibilities. The perfect combination is chosen for each of the processes and industries, we can optimize the function and make a huge difference in solving problems such as abrasion breaks, lack of retention, cake detachment problems, etc., with a focused approach. absolute in the client and their process.
Based on the availability of several state-of-the-art looms in our facilities, with a maximum width of 3.6 meters, the majority of Finsa's sales for export are made in rolls to our different partners in more than 45 countries . With our filter fabrics, products are manufactured such as: fabrics for filter presses, bands for pressure filters, bands for vacuum filters, centrifuges, filter bags, sectors for disc filters, etc. To achieve this, we have a fully equipped clothing workshop with a state-of-the-art cutting laser that is 3.4m wide.
