Design of half-pipe coil

• The half-pipe coil is supplied as an alternative to the jacket.
• Shape of the fluid flow section : half-pipe (DIN 28128)
• Zones : one or more to be agreed
• Single or double circuit : to be agreed

Nozzles

• Flanges to DIN 2501 PN 10
• All glass-lined nozzle are complete with loose backing split flanges acc. to DIN 28150 Other flange standards (ANSI) on request

Gaskets

• PTFE envelope type with stainless steel insert for all glass-lined connections

Agitator system

• Anchor agitator acc. to DIN 28158 and thermowell to DIN 28147
• Three-retreat-blade impeller agitator sec DIN 28157 and baffle acc. to DIN 28146
• Other mixing system designs are supplied on Request

Drive unit

• Asynchronous three-phase electric motor, EEx-d certified
• Speed reducer with ground profile gears
• Connection between motor and reduction gear : direct monted

Shaft seal

• Double mechanical seal assembly of cartridge design for quick replacement, side dismantling without removal of gear with thermometer and pressure gauge
• Pressurising and lubrication unit with thermosyphon circulation complete with hand-pump for topping up

Glass-Lining

Test and inspection of the glass-lining to DIN 28063

• Visual inspection - Thickness control of the coating - Statiflux (electrified particle test) - Spark test to ISO 2746 - For vessel and accessories, at 20.000V immediately after glass-lining. For vessel and accessories, at 12.000V prior to shipment

The supply includes

• Glass-lined protection ring for the manhole
• Spring-assisted lifting device to open the manway cover
• Sight glass
• Light glass.

• Bottom outlet glass-lined valve, stem design, manually driven or pneumatically driven or pneumatically actuated.
• Light fitting, EEx-d certified
• Agitating nozzles in the jacket inlets to increase the circulation velocity of liquid media in the jacket.
• Glass-Lined tip with platinum mini-tip melted into glass for a fast-response
• Temperature probe, which can be combined with the electrodes for the continuous glass control probe (RP probe)
• Control probes = Temperature: 2xPT100 completely glass-lined or by tantalum tip - pH or redox
• Detection of glass-lining failure (RP probe)
• Glass-lined or PTFE-lined dip-pipes. Other corrosion resistant materials are also available.
