Barbco's Pathfinder Guided Boring Machine (GBM) is engineered to deliver high precision in bore accuracy, essential for demanding applications that require strict adherence to line and grade specifications. The Pathfinder GBM integrates an air-hammer feature as standard, optimizing it for operations in hard-rock conditions. Its design merges the pilot tube steering technology with the robust mechanics of an auger boring machine, effectively allowing for precise casing installations of up to 60 inches in diameter. Unique to its design is the capability to be powered by the auger boring machine in use, enhancing operational flexibility. This machine is intentionally built with a robust structure to provide increased rotary torque, essential for challenging tasks. Available in two models, PF500 and PF1000, the Pathfinder system includes specialized features such as a hydraulic operators console, a fluid delivery system to minimize drill stem friction, and a heavy-duty rotary box with integrated enhancements for greater efficacy in boring tasks.
