Halltech - Heavyweight Grab Sampler

The proven design of the heavyweight grab sampler facilitates its use in all types of bottom substrates, except hard-packed clays. A simple pin mechanism prevents accidental closure of the dredge while in transit. The new improved spring-loaded release mechanism triggers the dredge upon impact with the bottom. The top of the dredge is covered with #30 stainless steel screening to reduce the frontal shock wave and prevent the escape of the sample upon retrieval. The simplicity of its design and the rugged stainless steel jaw construction will ensure the dependability of the dredge for many years. The weights and control arms of the dredge are powder painted for corrosion resistance.
