Main uses
HEDP 60 is mainly used as a scale inhibitor, corrosion inhibitor, chelating/sequestering agent, and peroxide stabilizer. Common applications include cooling-water treatment, boiler-water treatment, detergents, textile auxiliaries, oilfield water systems, metal surface treatment, sugar processing, electroplating, and peroxide bleaching stabilization.
Safety and handling
HEDP 60 is acidic and may be corrosive to metals and can cause serious eye damage; SDS examples list protective gloves, protective clothing, eye/face protection, and storage in corrosion-resistant containers.
Packing and storage
Common packing options include 65 kg HDPE carboys, 200 L / 250 kg drums, 275–290 kg polydrums, and IBC tanks depending on supplier. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and incompatible metals/materials.
