PIHER - Model PSAI -Inductive Angular Arc Position Sensor
Piher Sensing Systems manufactures the Inductive Arc Position Sensor, a sensor designed for robust applications such as tractors, excavators, and loaders. These sensors employ inductive technology, eliminating reliance on magnets, and instead, detect the position of a solid metallic target. This allows seamless integration into existing machinery structures. The sensors achieve high accuracy and feature IP67 and IP69K ratings for excellent sealing and high-temperature resistance, making them well-suited for harsh environments typical of off-highway uses. The arc design facilitates easy assembly and calibration, contributing to cost-efficiency in manufacturing. Measuring in a compact and low-profile package, options are available for custom mechanical design, programmable transfer functions, various output protocols, as well as redundancy levels, with CAN protocol support for simple outputs.
