BHU - Model LHPS -Lamellar High Performance Settler Technology
The Lamellar High Performance Settler (LHPS) exemplifies the pinnacle of advancements in water treatment technology. Building on a legacy stretching back to the first wastewater treatment systems in 1872 Birmingham, the LHPS incorporates optimized reaction steps for kinetics, mixing requirements, and overall reaction efficiency. Engineered by BHU, the system excels in segregating key treatment processes such as chemical mixing, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, particle removal, and sludge thickening. Each LHPS is uniquely customized to accommodate specific applications, ranging from coagulation/flocculation to water softening and decarbonization. Capable of handling volume flows of 100 to 3,000 m³/h and achieving effluent suspended solids as low as 3 ppm, the LHPS also boasts up to 75% removal of organic compounds and decarbonization levels below 0.2 meq/L. Designed for both concrete and steel constructions, it offers high removal efficiency with a compact footprint, making it an ideal choice for both municipal and industrial water treatment applications.
