Model BKU II -Lining Systems

SHARE

Structural and groundwater protection by applying the right sewage technology represents an elementary decision in many respects. As a complement to our BKU II System, proven and tested in practice for more than ten years now, we are now proud to offer our linings also in polypropylene for the increased demands of industry and municipalities.

Apart from the high chemical resistance and a safe mechanical anchorage in the concrete, our BKU II linings are of particular benefit thanks to their economic processing at the site.

During the installation of our BKU II System, we take into account the progress of the construction work. The intended objective to reduce cleaning costs through permanently smooth surfaces is confirmed by experience.

The green colouration facilitates inspections and maintenance even under difficult light situations. Apart from our standard colour (green, 4mm), other colours (black and grey) are available on request.

Wichtigster Bestandteil unseres BKU II-Systems sind die Stegprofile, die sich mit Hilfe von Innen- und Außenwinkeln, Steckverbindern und Verschlußscheiben einfach und schnell montieren lassen.

The BKU II-System: corrosion protection for highest demands

  • Less maintenance costs thanks to
    • smooth surfaces and thus lesser tractive effort required for bed load transport;
    • lesser incrustation tendency because of the material-related molecular structure of polyethylene and polypropylene;
  • Innovative joint formation and adaptation to predefined concreting sections ensure the least possible assembly effort at the site.
  • high abrasion resistance thanks to wall thicknesses of 4mm or 5mm in connection with material-typical strength
  • large media resistance
  • adjustable to almost any geometries
  • improved hydraulic performance of piping
  • high-quality and future-proof corrosion protection for reinforced concrete and thus a longer life of structures and pipe systems, in particular in difficult working environments
  • extremely comprehensive media resistance; in particular for use in industrial areas of application
  • adjustable to almost any geometries
  • reduction of maintenance costs (minimised cleaning effort) thanks to very low roughness coefficient values, thus material transport can be guaranteed even in case of a low installation slope and the resulting lower tractive forces.
  • non-destructive leak test possible any time; thus
  • exfiltration and infiltration in piping engineering - in particular the problems regarding house connections - are a thing of the past
  • active environmental protection thanks to design-engineering leak-proof transitions to neighbouring systems and structures as well as to feed and drain pipes
  • non-destructive subsequent integration of mounting parts or extensions is possible any time
  • high inherent rigidity thanks to web profiles and thus high system stability in the wall area
  • no conflicts with regard to crack width limitations or other increased subsoil requirements on reinforced concrete surface (DIN 1045 Paragraph 10.3; Working sheet AGI S20 T1)
  • excellent abrasion behaviour (see diagram of various materials)
