Wonderfil - Model Wipefil -Manual Brush Filter
WIPEFIL are mesh filters with a manually operated brush cleaning system, which allows the operator to easily clean the filtering element in seconds, without having to open the lid.
WIPEFIL’s housing and cleaning system are made in stainless steel, while the rotating brushes are made of nylon. This makes them very robust, resistant and low maintenance. These filters are ideal for the treatment of water with suspended solids of various nature (even coarse solids) and are mainly used for water from wells, canals, rivers and in industrial processes.
The wide range of cartridges supplied with filter element in PES or in AISI 316 stainless steel allows for different degrees of filtration from 3000µm up to 80µm.
WIPEFILs are delivered complete with pressure gauges and emptying valves.
- Brushes cleaning system.
- Continuous filtration, without interruptions during cleaning.
- “QUICK BOLTS” system for rapid opening and closing for quick maintenance.
- Manually operated cleaning system.
- Gaskets certified for contact with drinking water.
- Surface treated with shot peening to eliminate residual particles.
- Passivation rebuilds the physical barrier against aggressive agents, ennobling the stainless steel.
- The differential pressure control kit (DPKit) provides an SPST electric contact which allows to signal the filter’s clogging to the plant’s management systems.
WIPEFIL filters are equipped with a robust manual brush cleaning system, composed of 3 resistant nylon brushes installed on a stainless-steel shaft, which is manually rotated by the operator through a lever installed on the filter cover, after opening the drain valve.
In this way the cleaning of the filtering element is quick and easy and all the suspended solids retained inside the cartridge are expelled without interrupting the flow of outgoing clean water.
