QK mechanical bar screen is used at wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), to removes bigger objects, such as rags, papers, plastic and metals to prevent damage and clogging of downstream equipment, pipes and appurtenances.

Working Principle

The steel bars go rotation motion. It captures waste in water while bars going up, waste falling down while bars going down on the other side of machine, some waste sticking on the bars can be cleaned by a rubber brush. At the scenario of overload, a protection spring will push down to shut down motor and stop working.
