UNISOL - Model AMS Series -Membranes
AMS Membranes series offers an extensive line of innovative acid-stable, alkali-stable and solvent-stable nanofiltration and ultrafiltration membranes with elements for use in the respective media.
UNISOL has fully integrated Israel AMS membrane's technology and AMS membrane products (www.amsmembrane.com) into its products portfolio.
AMS membranes series offers an extensive line of innovative acid-stable, base(alkali)-stable and solvent-stable nanofiltration and ultrafiltration membranes with elements for use in the respective media. Our state-of-the-art chemically- and thermally-stable NanoPro™ and UltraPro™ membranes are applicable to a wide range of industrial separation applications.
All the products are packaged in a spiral wound configuration of 1.8", 2.5", 4" and 8" diameter with 31 and 46 mil feed spacers and a variety of components suitable for working in harsh environments. Other feed-spacer sizes are available on request.
- Includes acid resistant membrane, alkali resistant membrane (base resistant membrane), solvent resistant membrane.
- AMS membrane supports nano- filtration and ultra- filtration.
- AMS membranes sustain aggressive solutions for up to 3 years.
- It with stability to temperature and pressure.
- Working temperature up to 80 °C. No need for cooling. Improved permeate flux.
- Working pressure up to 70 bar. Can treat viscous streams. Improved permeate flux.
- Pressure drop up to 1 bar per module. Can treat viscous streams. Higher flexibility in system configuration.
AMS membranes are used for 10+ years on the market, working in various industries under harsh conditions to recover acids, caustic soda, solvents.
- Chemicals: Organic solvent nanofiltration (OSN) and end products concentration (e.g. chloral – alkali plants)
- Pharmaceuticals: Solvent recovery and API concentration (e.g. antibiotics and antibiotic intermediates)
- Food & Beverages: Caustic soda recovery from Clean-in-Place lines
- Paints & Coatings: Solvent and paint recovery from spent production line wash streams
- Mining & Metals: Acid recovery from leaching circuits, electrolysis and electrowinning units, galvanization baths
- Pulp & Rayon: Caustic and celluloid recovery from pulping liquors
