Komax - Model KTHB -Micro Mobile Taping Machine
As the smallest, mobile taping unit, the KTHB Micro performs crease-free taping with uniform pitch in reproducible quality by means of a simple hand movement. The KTHB Micro was specially developed for entry-level wire harness production on the routing board. It offers a significant increase in quality in manual wire harness production thanks to reproducible quality compared to manual taping. It is perfectly suited for small series and prototypes. The machine produces excellent spot tapes and short tapes. The KTHB Micro was specially developed for processing small tape lengths and can process commercially available adhesive tapes with tape widths up to 19 mm and tape core diameters of 1.5"" or 1.25"". In the hand-guided process with constant belt tension and guidance, a wrinkle-free belt is guaranteed. The controlled process by constant hand movement saves production time.
Time saving due to continuous taping process
With continuous hand movement, a higher rotation speed is achieved. The integrated cutting device further accelerates the taping process.
