Newsky - Model HMB-KPS -Millimeter wave cloud meter

HMB-KPS Ka band millimeter wave cloud meter is an all-weather cloud and fog detection, remote sensing equipment, which can detect and obtain the echo intensity, radial velocity, velocity spectral width and polarization information of cloud, fog, weak precipitation and other meteorological targets within 120m ~ 20km of vertical height in real time. By using all solid-state, high duty cycle millimeter wave transmitting module, large aperture and high gain antenna, pulse compression and pulse accumulation technology, continuously obtain the macro, micro and dynamic characteristic information of meteorological targets, with high space-time resolution over the station, and retrieve secondary products, such as cloud amount and cloud shape recognition. It can be applied to atmospheric scientific research, weather modification, cloud automatic observation, airport meteorological support, etc.
