Komax - Model KTHB -Mini Taping Unit
The KTHB Mini taping unit is ideal for prototyping in wire harness production on the routing board. Longer lengths are taped simply and quickly at the push of a button. The KTHB Mini is an efficient spot taping device for all commercially available adhesive tapes, which can reach a rotation speed of up to 280 rpm depending on the handling. Compared to manual full taping, the time saving is 50 percent. Thanks to the simple operation, training requirements are also low. The KTHB Mini is simply inserted into the cable, and the process starts at the push of a button, ensuring consistently high quality in the hand-held process. The adhesive tape is cut off at the end of the tape using the integrated cutter. Another highlight of the KTHB Mini is the optional extra balancer, which allows the unit to be conveniently attached to the ceiling or to a guide rail, making handling even easier.
Time savings due to high winding speed
A high rotation speed of up to 280 rpm enables processing that is twice as fast as the manual taping process.
The KTHB Mini is easy to control and particularly efficient when processing complete tapes from half a meter upward in length with commercially available adhesive tapes.
