PMS MiniCapt - Model EL -Mobile Microbial Air Sampler
The MiniCapt® Entry Level (EL) microbial air sampler allows the user to perform viable air sampling in standard cleanroom environments for contamination monitoring purposes. The sampler’s housing and touchscreen have antibacterial properties limiting introduction of contamination from the device in line with current regulatory standards. Microbial activity testing was performed with S. aureus and E. coli, and saw a reduction of greater than 95% compared to previous models.

Incorporating functionalities from MiniCapt Mobile, MiniCapt EL is ideal for sampling in lower class clean zones, where microbial limits are allowed and data management is not critical (ex. ISO 8 cleanrooms, non-classified and non-sterile areas, etc). Storage of multiple locations and recipes is protected by a built-in, 3-layer user management system.
The impactor head design has 20 precision-cut radial slits and an adjustable height and plate diameter mechanism that allow MiniCapt EL to be used with almost all manufactured agar plates, including glass Petri plates. The radial slits also ensure laminar flow, making false positive identification easier.
