Modular labs or Starrco modular cleanroom laboratories are an excellent solution to keep laboratory costs down, providing greater flexibility, enhanced security and shorter procurement times, versus fixed lab construction. Interior modular cleanrooms and portable labs are designed to be placed in existing buildings or warehouses. Available in almost any size, a portable lab is constructed in modules to be transported to the job site and can be disassembled and moved to a remote location. Installation and assembly of the modules is quick and very clean. A prefabricated building is made with structural members of either anodized aluminum or steel with a rust retardant finish. Walls, ceiling and floors have a solid impact resistant core with a durable aluminum or vinyl covered finish for low maintenance and long life to provide strength, durability, and safety.
Starrco Modular Offices for sale are designed to comply with structural requirements of the International Building Code, with regard to load-bearing design, roof deflection and lateral load resistance. A Starrco prefabricated office can also be designed to meet earthquake zone requirements.
Fire ProtectionStarrco’s DL wall systems have gypsum board panels and commercial grade 20ga. steel doors with 18ga. steel frames. All components of these wall systems are non-combustible. The sandwich panels have been tested by Guardian Fire Testing Laboratories in accordance to ASTM-E-2768. These modular wall panels were found to be class A fire resistant with a flame spread of less than 5 and a smoke density of less than 10. Copies of the test results are available upon request.
ElectricalAII electrical components are UL listed. The electrical handy box meets NEC (National Electric Code) requirements
AccessibilityADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant locksets and door closers are available upon request. Starrco’s standard doors meet the width requirements for the ADA.
