Rulmeca - Model 220M & 220H -Motorized Pulleys
Rulmeca offers a range of motorized pulleys with two different loading options in 216 mm diameter for bulk handling applications:
- COMPACT
- EQUAL WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION
- RESISTANCE AGAINST EXTERNAL INFLUENCES
- M for Medium-duty
- H for Heavy-duty
It’s important to note the differences between different types of motorized pulleys to choose the right one for your own application. In particular, the estimated belt tension (radial load) = T1+T2 must be lower than the maximum radial load allowed. Be aware that using multiply thick, heavy and/or large belt can lead to increased values. If proper belt tension is not reached with this diameter, it’s necessary to choose a larger one.
M for Medium-duty
The internal parts of motorized pulleys 220M are designed to be used in applications with rough working conditions: crushing and screening equipment, cement and concrete plants, mobile conveyors, open stone and gravel pits. These components are able to provide enough belt tension.
H for Heavy-duty
A reinforced 3-stage-gearbox provides motorized pulleys 220H with the necessary strength to operate at low speeds, deliver high torque and meet belt tension requirements. Therefore, they perfectly fit for recycling plants (hand sorter conveyors) or bunker discharge conveyors which exactly require a combination of the mentioned specifications.
