LLA InstrumentsModel KUSTA-MPL -Multi-Channel NIR Spectrometer for Sorting Processes

SHARE

Materials identification and analytical evaluation: Our KUSTA-MPL multiplexed process spectrometers were developed for integration into sorting systems and have been used successfully for years in plastics and waste paper recycling. Technically, the devices are near-infrared spectrometers, capable of scanning up to 64 measuring tracks extremely fast. By doing so, they detect materials directly on the belt. The modular measuring tracks enable simultaneous detection even across several conveyor belts. The near-infrared line spectrometer combined with an optical multiplexer has a high spectral resolution of 4 nm/pixel, which allows for the evaluation of even the smallest spectral differences. This is required, e.g., for the identification of plastic blends or material agglomerates (mixed spectra).

Our hyperspectral cameras are designed specifically for use in harsh industrial environments. They can be used with our own software package systems via a Gigabit Ethernet connection and can also be integrated into Machine Vision / AI via an optional GenICam interface. Our hyperspectral camera systems are typically used as a complete system solution.
