PAROC - Model eXtra plus -Multipurpose Insulation Slab
PAROC eXtra plus is a multipurpose insulation slab (lambda 0,034 W/mK) for ventilated facades, pitched roofs and ventilated floors. In ventilated structures, the product is installed as a two-layer solution together with wind protection insulation.
The insulating board is quick to cut with a knife or saw and easy to install in various frame structures and shapes. It stays firmly in place without installation supports. The PAROC eXtra width of the product helps in tight installation of the insulation board against the frame.
Ready board dimensions for wooden frame structures (cc600) minimize cutting work and waste.
The dense fiber structure effectively prevents the movement of air inside the insulating layer due to temperature differences, so that the product`s insulating ability is maintained even in challenging winter conditions.
PAROC eXtra plus stone wool insulation contributes to enhanced the fire and sound insulation properties of timber structures (EC 5 calculations).
PAROC stone wool products are capable of withstanding high temperatures. The binder starts to evaporate when its temperature exceeds approximately 200°C. The insulating properties remain unchanged, but the compressive stress weakens. The softening temperature of stone wool products is over 1000°C.
