The working principle of a spiral oil press is mainly through the pushing effect of the rotating spiral shaft inside the press chamber, which continuously pushes the pressed material forward. At the same time, due to the shortening of the screw lead or the increase of the root diameter, the volume of the squeezing chamber space continues to shrink, thereby generating pressure to compress the squeezing material and squeeze out the oil in the billet. The oil flows out from the gaps in the squeezing cage, while the residue is pressed into cakes and continuously discharged from the end of the squeezing shaft.

Main components:
The main components of a spiral oil press include the press chamber, spiral shaft, automatic control part, heating and pressing part, adjustment part, transmission part, and vacuum oil filtration part. Among them, the squeezing chamber is composed of a squeezing cage and a spiral shaft rotating inside the squeezing cage, which is the core component for squeezing and extracting oil. The automatic control system includes air switches, AC contactors, temperature controllers, and circuit automatic protection devices to ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipment. The heating and pressing part consists of a heater, a pressing screw, a pressing strip, and a machine assembly, used for heating and pressing the pressed material. The transmission part consists of the main shaft, gearbox, pulley, motor wheel, etc., responsible for providing power to drive the rotation of the screw shaft. The adjustment part consists of adjusting screws, adjusting nuts, sub handles, locking nuts, etc., used to adjust the gap between the squeezing chamber and the screw shaft, as well as the feeding amount of the squeezing material. The vacuum oil filtration part is composed of vacuum pumps, oil filter barrels, pipelines, and other components, which are used to filter and purify the pressed oil and fat.
