xCell is Spheryx’s custom microfluidic sample cell designed for use with xSight. xCell is a disposable sample holder that has a sample reservoir, optical viewing region and waste reservoir, all contained on the microfluidic chip that is about the same size as a standard microscope slide. The sample never leaves the chip, assuring ease of handling with no cross contamination between samples.
Each xCell can make 8 independent measurements, one in each of its 8 channels.
