NEOGARD Peda-Gard - Pedestrian Waterproofing System

Peda-Gard is a high-performance, single-component, solvent-based urethane system specifically engineered for pedestrian applications. Known for its excellent adhesion, crack-bridging ability, and abrasion resistance, Peda-Gard has been a reliable solution in the industry for over 40 years. Its seamless, skid-resistant membrane effectively prevents moisture ingress and chloride intrusion, which can lead to structural deterioration. This system is suitable for both concrete and plywood decks, offering durable protection in harsh environments. It requires a curing time of 48 to 72 hours depending on temperature conditions. The system can be applied at temperatures above 40°F/4°C, but care should be taken to avoid application on surfaces exceeding 100°F/38°C. Peda-Gard not only enhances the longevity of infrastructure but also reduces long-term maintenance costs.

The quartz aggregate provides true depth of color for a distinctive appearance and excellent texture for slip resistance.

Decorative Peda-Gard combines our single-component 70410 and 7430 urethanes with decorative quartz aggregate and a choice of five clear topcoat materials:

  • 70817/70818 Chemical-Resistant Urethane
  • 70869/70819 Polyaspartic
  • Acrylithane HS2
  • Acrylithane HS4
