QK Peripheral drive Clarifier is installed on medium and large size circular setting tanks in wastewater treatment plants. Feed water passes through the center pillar from bottom to the top, then distribute evenly into tank. Outlet water overflow though weir around tank, which keeps a stable water quality and quantity.

Structures and Principles

Peripheral drive Clarifier is composed of: a mobile truss beam, two end driving trolley, two rotations with peripheral driving system, scrapers, suckers, scum skimmers, flow guidance, sludge collectors, center pit, electric cables and control cabinet.

The sludge feed in from top middle pillar (deviated by the weir in order to optimize the thickening), sludge scraper blades remove the sludge accumulated on the bottom and collect it in a central pit wherefrom, by a pump, is conveyed to the outlet though a pipe. Outlet sludge can return or disposal to sludge thickening tank. Above scum is skimmed to collection bucket for further disposal.
