Plusfab - Closed End Pipe Pile
Closed-end pipe piles, or “sealed-bottom steel pipe piles,” feature a base plate, pile tip, or a special seal welded at the bottom. This design fully encloses the pipe. The main benefit is that the load transfers well to deep soil or rock layers. This leads to a very strong bearing capacity. We mainly use this type of pile for projects needing strong foundations. These include bridges, docks, offshore platforms, large factories, and retaining walls.
We use engineering-grade steels such as Q345, Q355, S355, API 5L Gr.B to X70, which are extremely strong and durable.
The default surface color is black, but we can also apply epoxy, 3PE, marine anti-corrosion coatings, etc., according to your project requirements.

Large-scale projects such as bridges, docks, and offshore platforms; deep foundation pit support, retaining walls, and municipal underground engineering; foundations for large industrial plants;
projects requiring strong end bearing capacity and drilling into hard soil/gravel/rock strata (especially those with rock shoes).
We use LSAW, SSAW, or ERW processes in our production. The bottom sealing section uses automated and robotic welding. It also includes multi-pass welding. This ensures a strong weld between the base plate and the pipe body.
We perform UT, RT, and MT flaw detection on the welds, and 100% inspection when necessary.
The pile tip, or rock shoe, also faces extra tests. These check its tensile, impact, and abrasion resistance. This ensures it won’t face issues when driven into the hard layer.
Each pile has records for straightness, dimensions, weld seams, and coating thickness before it leaves the factory. Third-party inspections are also available.
We can manufacture large-diameter, thick-walled closed-end pipe pies, and can produce even the most complex bottom sealing structures according to drawings.
Short delivery time, no delays for customized projects.
From material selection and welding to flaw detection, every step is documented, ensuring traceable quality.
We can assist with any necessary process documents, test reports, and third-party verification.
