Midac - Power Inside Punching Technology System
After over a year spent on the development and finalization of the Punching Technology System, the introduction of the Power Inside grids has improved the quality and reliability of the whole Midac range. A concrete step towards the development of new batteries that, combined with the new technologies of the automotive world, will make cars more efficient, while reducing the impact on the environment.
Punching Technology System is the first equipment in which high production speed and extreme precision coexist, making it unique in its kind.
Power Inside is a line of new grids featuring a robust design and providing excellent performances.
Most of the batteries sold into the market use grids produced by expanded metal technology. These grids are submitted to corrosion and expansion phenomena that deteriorate them since the interruption of their function, the engine cranking. This kind of grid looks alike a mesh, however, has not a frame able to offer a better mechanical resistance, essential in a situation where the car, and therefore the battery, is systematically submitted to vibrations due to a never perfect roadway.
Metal expanded technology is today eclipsed by Midac with the adoption of Punching Technology System. Power Inside grids come with a completely different mechanical structure respect the previous ones, with a foursquare frame able to withstand all the mechanical stress and to retain the active material that tends to break down over time. Their design minimizes corrosion, optimizes production reducing its time and increasing the quality of the product. A Power Inside grid offers better performance and longer life.
