PPD - Manually-Emptied Lamina Filtertraps
This range has been designed to be easily emptied manually utilising the winched lifting hoist to raise and suspend the large capacity tray and allow the waste grease and oil to drain off into a waste container for disposal.

These very high quality separators have been tested to the rigorous EN 1825 test in which a mixture of oil and water is passed through the separator for a minimum 20 minute test period and then samples of the outflow are taken and examined by infra-red spectrophotometry to determine exactly how many parts of oil is in each million parts of water.
The Lamina Filter trap achieved better than the 25 parts per million required under EN 1825.
We achieve these excellent results with the following features:-
- Lamina Flow - The inlet encourages layered, lamina flow causing fast separation of oil and grease even at high temperatures.
- Coalescing Filter - The special traps filter medium separates the fine droplets of oil and grease which pass through normal grease traps.
- Positive Trapping - The grease cannot be flushed through by dishwashers or pan-sinks emptying - a common fault with most small grease traps.
