Efficient Rainwater Buffer
Hydrorock® is a new type of rainwater buffer that stores more rain and groundwater but requires less digging. As a result, Hydrorock blocks offer more water absorption and more efficient infiltration and drainage.

Especially for Heavy Load-Bearing Areas
Hydrorock® High Density (HD) blocks are designed for heavy load-bearing areas and can be loaded up to a maximum of 4000 kg/m2 . The HD-blocks have a dense fibre structure in one direction that determine the compressive strength. To serve this heavy load-bearing capacity the HD blocks therefore need always to be placed in a standing position.

Durability
Hydrorock® is made of stone wool, a 100% natural material. It remains underground for decades in an optimum condition. Standard plastic buffers are liable to surface damage and have to be replaced. Hydrorock® withstands erosion from plant and tree roots and continues to work well for years. The cotton-based filter cloth membrane does not get mouldy or rot. It has a high breaking strength and resists natural substances in the soil.

Easy Installation
Hydrorock® is available in narrow blocks of various sizes. The enormous buffering capacity and dimensions limit the amount of digging required. Depending on the application, blocks are placed either on top of each other or beside one another to form the required buffer, drainage or infiltration system. They are suitable for any required capacity and situation. Digging narrow trenches is sufficient and limits the cost of removing surplus soil providing flexibility and simplicity.
