Zakłady Urządzeń Przemysłowych ZAM Kęty Sp. z o.o. is the Polish manufacturer known for gas and induction furnaces for melting of metals as well as apparatus for measuring of air dustiness.

The company has been in existence since 1966. At the beginning, the name of the company was Zakłady Automatyzacji i Mechanizacji Przemysłu Metali Nieżelaznych ZAM (Automation and Mechanisation Factories of Non – Ferrous Metals Industry ZAM). The basic task of the company was the manufacturing of induction furnaces and heaters for the metallurgic factories of non – ferrous metals, rubber parts and rubber – metal parts for the needs of the mining industry, apparatus for the measuring of air pollution as well as non-standard machinery and equipment for metallurgy and founding.

The ‘90s was the period of production and property restructuring and ownership changes which resulted in the company was privatized in 2002. Since that moment on, ZAM company has belonged to the Polish private investors. The current name of the company: Zakłady Urządzeń Przemysłowych ZAM Kęty Sp. z o.o. (Factories of Industrial Equipment ZAM Kęty Ltd).

ZAM Kęty has got a wide - range offer. Diversification in the field of organisation and products makes the Limited Company successful. Manufacturing, marketing and development of products take place in the two Factories i.e. the Mechanical and Automation and Control-Measuring Apparatus. ZAM Kęty is the manufacturer known across and outside the country for gas and electric furnaces for melting of metals, abrasion resistant rubber linings and the apparatus for the measuring of air dustiness. The main consumers of the Limited Company are: metallurgy and foundries, machinery and chemical industries, heat and power stations, mining, ceramics, building materials and environment protection industries. The company also specialises in the realisation of non-standard, small-batch and unitary projects made on the basis of the documentation of the Customer, supplied patterns, or mutual agreement. In the period of recent years, the company has become a permanent and respected cooperation partner in the field of machinery, devices and steel structures supplies for the companies from: Denmark, Norway, Austria and Germany. Furthermore, the foreign consumers of ZAM Kęty’s products are the enterprises from the European Union, China, India and Russia.

The company was awarded the title of Gazela Biznesu (Gazelle Company) for continuous growth of turnover and profit. The high quality of products and services is supported by ISO 9001 Certificate. The company also holds Certyfikat Wiarygodności Biznesowej (the Certificate of Business Credibility).

ZAM Kęty is the innovative company. It is possible to keep so wide assortment of production and services on the high level thanks to competent engineering - technical staff with own design office. Research works are conducted, among others, in cooperation with the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice, the Silesian University of Technology and AGH the University of Science and Technology.
