SANITRX - Rupture Disc
The SANITRX Rupture Disc is a semicircular-scored reverse acting rupture disc designed to provide instantaneous overpressure protection in sanitary environments. Engineered exclusively for applications concerned with product purity and trouble-free equipment sterilization, the SANITRX Rupture Disc provides overpressure protection for sanitary systems, equipment, and vessels. This solid metal rupture disc is ideal for primary and/or secondary system relief protection and isolating a system or safety relief valve from leakage or permeation.

- Burst Pressure Range: 14 psig- 500 psig ( 0,965 barg - 34,5 barg )
- Recommended Operating Ratio: 90 % of the rupture disc`s rated (stamped) burst pressure.

(B.D.I.) Burst Disc Indicator
Continental Disc Corporation`s Burst Disc Indicator (B.D.I.) Alarm System is designed specifically for use with C.D.C. Rupture Discs. Upon disc rupture, the Burst Disc Indicator strip is severed, disrupting the flow of electric current through the strip. An attached alarm monitor can then transmit a warning and/or activate appropriate equipment.
