Senro - Sink-Float Separator
FromSenro
Using a sink-float bath, it is possible to separate fractions with different specific gravity. In a water basin, the heavy and light fractions are separated based on the difference in buoyancy. The heavy fraction (stone, concrete, rubble, etc.) sinks, is collected at the bottom of the basin and is removed by means of a discharge screw.

The light fraction (wood, plastics, etc.) is transported to a dewatering screw and disposed of in this way.
Senro develops and produces stainless steel sink-float separators for processing plastics. In each case, a sink-float separators is custom-designed by our own engineering department so that it is ideally suited for the desired sorting and capacity with the outlet to the right, left, front or back.
