McCrometer SPI Mag - Model 5000 -Single Profile Insertion Electromagnetic Flow Meter
Ideal for Clean or Dirty Water Flow Measurement. Electromagnetic Insertion Meter for Municipal and Industrial Flow Applications. The SPI Mag Insertion Flow Meter provides a highly cost-effective solution for the accurate measurement of liquid flow in closed conduit, pressurized pipe applications. Unlike conventional magnetic meters, the SPI Mag`s cost is independent of pipe size. Velocity and pipe diameter information are utilized by the SPI Mag to determine flow over wide flow ranges with a high degree of accuracy.

The SPI Mag reliably measures flow in water and wastewater as well as any type of industrial flow processes involving conductive fluids such as potable water, slurries, sludge, cooling water, and pulp stock.

- Reverse flow: Not available. When flow is reversed, the display reads 0 flow
- Directional Response: Reads 0 when flow is reversed

- To determine insertion tube length for typical near wall installations, divide the pipe I.D. by 8 and add 18”.
- For full profiles, add 18” to the pipe I.D.

- Note regarding storage: During freezing conditions and when meter is not in use, sensor must be removed from pipe and stored in dry conditions.
- NOTE: Damage to the sensor caused by allowing the sensor freeze in the pipe is not covered by the warranty.
