MesSen Nord ROHRTESTSingle Socket Test System

SHARE

The ROHRTEST test system can be expanded via the existing interfaces to the single socket leak test system or nozzle leak test system with air or water as the test medium, e.g. according to DIN EN 1610, methods L and W, DWA-A 139, DWA-M 149-6 (formerly ATV-M 134-6) with the test methods air overpressure test, air underpressure test and water pressure test for Germany and according to SIA190/VSA for Switzerland.

The test area is sealed off directly at the socket tester, which leads to shorter test times than with conventional testing including the test hose. Of course, existing socket test packers from all manufacturers and socket test reels with a double hose system can also be used with the ROHRTEST system.

This test method is also referred to as pipe connection testing, pipe section testing, partial section testing, socket pressure testing, connection testing, nozzle testing of pipe sockets, sewer connections, line connections as well as inlets, pipe connections, side connections and connection nozzles or section-by-section testing of pipe connections and sewer connections.

Rescue of failed socket individual tests / nozzle tests with compressed air by testing with the test medium water

If a test using air as a test medium is unsuccessful due to unfavorable pipe material properties, the ROHRTEST test system also offers a test option using water as a medium, which often proves to be significantly more robust in terms of pipe surface and sealing properties and also produces positive test results for concrete pipes, for example. In contrast to competing systems, the test system developed by MESSEN NORD also enables complete, camera-monitored ventilation of the test room before the water leak test begins, which is carried out as a  real water loss measurement via the integrated electronic water meter  .

Manually or automatically driven socket test drums with reversing spindle / cross slide guide, camera carriage and socket test controls for integration directly into the socket test devices and observation cameras for the socket position complete the system. The video digitization / video image display available for the ROHRTEST system allows digital video image recording / video documentation with the test system.
