Ethyl acetate process extraction

§     Pre-treatment (soil washing)

(in order to obtain two different products: one that can be recycled immediately and the other which will undergo the extraction with solvent process).

§     Extraction section

(mix of fine material - clay/silt - with ethyl acetate and dissolution of the pollutants).

§     Dripping Separation

Liquid fraction: made up of solvent and the dissolved pollutants.
Solid fraction: decontaminated soil with solvent residues.
 §     Removal of the solvent for adsorption from the solid fraction

(by solution in water and subsequent extraction)

§     Solvent re-generation: through distillation and separation of pollutants as bottom fraction
