SATLANTIS - Model iSIM-90 -Space Cameras
The iSIM-90 instrument is the lightest and most compact optical payload of the iSIM family, able to provide imagery in the VNIR (Visible and Near-Infrared) and/or SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) spectral ranges, designed to fit 12U/16U CubeSat platforms, while keeping a high performance-to-mass ratio. Based on SATLANTIS’ proprietary and flight-proven technology iSIM.

iSIM (integrated Standard Imager for Microsatellites) is a new generation of High and Very High-Resolution optical imagers for Earth Observation satellites, with video capability.
The iSIM instrument operates in the visible, near infrared and short-wave infrared spectral ranges, supporting innovative applications to address challenges in sectors such as detection and quantification of methane emissions (Oil&Gas), Defence and Security, monitorisation of infrastructures, precision agriculture.
Ultra-High Resolution (UHR) is a technique used to retrieve a high spatial resolution image from a series of low spatial resolution images, without loss of information.
SATLANTIS has developed its own Ultra-High Resolution algorithm that can improve the resolution by a factor of up to 2.5. Additionally, onboard processing of ultra-resolved images allows significant reductions in the amount of data to download to the Ground stations.
SATLANTIS has expanded its UHR algorithm to create a new concept, the iSIM Smart Imaging, that enables a customization of three key parameters of the algorithm based on customer needs or mission requirements. These parameters allow a tuning of spatial resolution, contrast and signal due to their interplay within the algorithm’s code.
