Stretch wrapping equipment is used to automatically or semi-automatically wrap products loaded onto pallets prior to shipping. The goal is to stretch wrap the products in such a way as to ensure their integrity during transit. While there are multiple ways to do this, Ambrose stretch wrappers perform this service quickly and economically while giving the products a professional look.

A stretch wrapper is used to wrap a loaded pallet from top to bottom. It is wrapped with enough force to maintain the integrity of the shipment during transit. This is referred to as the containment force and is dependent on the strength of the stretch film, the number of wraps and the force with which each wrap is applied. The containment force can be judged by hand or with a tool designed for that purpose.
