There are measurement applications where wires are an important problem. Measurements in rotary machinary, mobile applications, powerless installations, etc. For these, telemetry systems allow to remove the existing cables, simplyfing and reducing the cost of these measurements.
Many acquisition and data communication modules exist for different tupes of sensors whose outputs can be voltage, current, strain gauge, ratiometric, digital, temperature, wind speed, etc. Besides the input modules, it is possible to have analog and digital output modules which will allow us to actuate on elements and make control loops.
