Autex GreenStuf Batts come in a wide range of R-Values. From R1.5 to R4.0 and in sizes to suit 99% of all wall stud, floor joist and ceiling rafter widths. Autex GreenStuf Batts can save you up to 60% on heating and cooling costs. Keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. Autex GreenStuf Batts comply with Australian Building Codes, passing all flammability tests. Autex Greenstuf Batts do not contain any synthetic material fibres (SMF`s), VOC`s or CFC`s. Only 100% safe polyester, which is formaldehyde free and resistant to vermin, moisture and mildew. GreenStuf can easily be torn to size by hand, making them simple to install even for home DIY enthusiasts.

Polyester, the `friendly fibre` insulation material
We call polyester the `friendly fibre` because it won`t damage our environment, it is non-toxic, non-allergenic and safe for anyone coming into contact with it. With no chemicals to worry about and no microscopic fibres to itch, irritate or be inhaled, GreenStuf can be handled and installed without any special precautions.
But Autex Polyester Insulation goes beyond this. It is manufactured using 70% plus recycled content (low embodied energy) and our manufacturing plants have an ultra-low / zero waste policy, all off cuts and waste are immediately recycled back into the process. The product is fully recyclable, unlike most insulation, which must be treated as a hazardous waste. Autex Insulation does not need to add to landfill.
GreenStuf® Batts for walls and ceilings
GreenStuf Batts are designed for the thermal insulation of buildings and can be used in ceilings, internal and external walls and mid-floor cavities. They come as insulation segments pre-cut to fit standard timber-framed walls and ceilings. Thermally bonded into shape, they are designed to be self-supporting and require no stapling into place.
