Rototilt - Tool Attachment Frames
The tool attachment frame constitutes the connection between your tool and the excavator’s machine coupler or tiltrotator. Rototilt’s tool attachment frames are based on Open-S. With our standard attachment frame, the hydraulics are connected manually when changing tools, although the process is smooth thanks to our modern quick couplings. With Rototilt® QuickChange™, you can change hydraulic tools without leaving the cab. For service tools, we have developed AFT ST, a weld constructed attachment frame with a low weight and bolted coupling ramp, optimised for Rototilt’s tools requiring a bolt-on attachment frame. For tools that require even greater breakout force, we have also developed AFT HD, which has a cast, heavy duty construction. AFT HD is optimised for use with hydraulic hammers for example and other heavy demolition tools, but has a flexible design to suit a wide variety of tools and manufacturers.
Hydraulic tools place high demands on the attachment frame. The same applies to strenuous demolition work with heavy tools such as a hydraulic hammer. At Rototilt®, we always make our products with your toughest operations in mind. For the very heaviest jobs, however, we know that you need equipment that will help you do the job efficiently, yet also save your machine unnecessary wear and tear. That’s why we are also developing products specifically for those occasions when you need even greater breakout force, durability and performance. In this way, you can build a system that you know you can trust.
Our products have been developed in accordance with Open-S, a common standard for the mechanical and hydraulic interface between machine coupler, tiltrotator and tool. This means that products included in the standard are compatible between different manufacturers, thereby providing you as a machine contractor with greater freedom of choice when choosing a supplier and a product. Our tool attachment frames are also included in the standard. The interface builds on the previously established S standard for excavators, which has been developed by MaskinLeverantörerna.
Rototilt QuickChange™ is a fully automatic quick coupler system, especially developed for Rototilt’s tiltrotators, machine couplers and tools. This means that you can change hydraulic tools without leaving the cab. Attachments with QuickChange™ utilise the same basic design as other machine couplers, including SecureLock™. With QuickChange™, however, you get the best of both worlds. Your excavator becomes a fully-fledged tool carrier that lets you work faster, smarter and with more precision. If you are using a tiltrotator, you can quickly disconnect it in exposed situations where its functionality is not required. Everything is handled safely and fully automatically directly from the cab.
