The Universal Data Acquisition System (UDAS/USB2250) offers seamless integration for acquiring real-world data through a USB interface. It can handle up to 16 sensor inputs of varying types, such as thermocouples, RTDs, strain gages, and more, eliminating the need for external signal conditioning. This system facilitates precise data collection with 16-bit resolution across 10 input ranges from 20 mV to 10.24 V full scale. The unique dual-conversion scheme minimizes zero offset in low-level measurements, and polynomial linearization is applied to thermocouples and RTDs. With Easy Sense 2250 software, users can record data in real-time, view graphs, and set trigger functionalities. The configuration, including sensor type and input parameters, can be saved in non-volatile memory for embedded applications, providing a versatile solution for technical environments that require accurate and reliable data acquisition.

The Universal Data Acquisition System(UDAS) Sensor Interface provides real world data acquisition for your PC via the USB port. 16 sensor inputs in any mix or combination are accepted by the UDAS. No external signal conditioning is required. The UDAS includes configuration and data acquisition software.

Thermocouples, RTDs, strain gages, LVDTs, potentiometers, VR sensors and low-level DC voltages are wired directly to the USB terminals in any mix or combination of single-ended or differential input types. All required excitation, amplification and linearization is provided by the UDAS. No additional equipment is required.

Software for the UDAS includes a GUI configuration utility that allows the user to set sensor type, gain range, channel, and all other input parameters. The configuration can be saved to non-volatile memory on the card so that The UDAS can be used in embedded applications.

Easy Sense 2250 data acquisition software is also included so that the user may record sensor data to an ASCII file in real time.
