Vacuum continuous casting machines, such as the TCC models, are integral tools in metallurgy for casting high-quality metal products with precision. These machines are engineered to accommodate various crucible working capacities, tailored for metals like gold and silver, and they employ a vacuum environment to enhance the purity and quality of the final product. The TCC series machines feature different crucible capacities ranging from those handling up to 1.5 Kg of silver to those managing 44 Kg of silver and more. They come equipped with a versatile pulling unit that allows for adjustable speed, enabling fine control over the pulling process. The machines also offer the ability for simultaneous wire casting and can shape sheets and tubes of differing dimensions. Their induction heating capability varies from 10 kW to 45 kW, adapting to different metallurgical requirements. TCC machines are equipped with Gas Wash Purge procedure which greatly reduce oxygen content with the vacuum pump and fills back the melting chamber with inert gas, preventing the oxidation of the alloy in a very fast and efficient way.

In addition, there is an independent temperature control for preventing liquid metal leakage, by using an optical pyrometer aiming directly on the bar coming out from the die.

The drawing unit can also be equipped with an extra induction generator, which allows to restart the cycle after the production shutdown.
 
Pulling unit is equipped with devices for automatic detection of slippage phenomena between the roller and the semi-finished product. Another specific device will also detects the end of the cycle, when the bar reaches its end.
 
To reduce the risk of oxidation during drawing, the semi-finished products are under a constant inert gas flushing as they come out from the die.
 
In addition, when a quicker cooling is required for harness control, semi-finished products can be cooled down by a direct water sprinkle aiming on their profile.
 
Hydraulic or sawing cutting on the run is available on request, with automatic and programmable measurement of the profile length.

TCC machines are equipped with a data acquisition system which allows the sampling of the process variables with reporting function after every cast. Data can be displayed in graphic format or exported to external PC for analysis.
