SPEL - Model V Series -Vertical Packaged Pumping Stations
The SPEL V Series Vertical Packaged Pumping Stations, commonly referred to as 'wet wells', offer a compact design with a small footprint, ideal for integration into various infrastructures including water authorities. The series encompasses a wide range of sizes tailored for diverse applications, boasting seven distinct shell specifications that cater to deep inverts or high groundwater locations. Designed in compliance with BS EN 13121 standards, the tanks come with a 25-year warranty and an expected lifespan exceeding 50 years, proving their durability and reliability. Capacity options range from 1,700 to 115,930 liters across various series from the 200 Series to the 600 Series, with customizable tank heights in 500mm increments. This flexibility ensures adaptability for specific project needs, whether requiring valve chambers or not. The robust construction and comprehensive range make them suitable for both industrial and municipal applications.
SPEL Wet Wells (V Series) Pump Stations are the core of a great pumping system. They have the benefits of a small footprint, durability, performance and SPEL back-up. They are available in a size range of 1.700 litres to 116,000 litres. These systems can be built to adoptable standards subject to water company approval. Offline storage can be included by means of SPEL Tankstor tanks with sizes from 1,000 litres to 300,000 litres (click here for more information on our SPEL Tankstor range.)
Vertical Packaged Pumping Stations
The SPEL V Series Packaged Pump Stations are often known as ‘wet wells’ and work in conjunction with ‘offline’ storage (See Section 3). The benefit of the vertical format is a small foot print and compact design, it is also the preferred option for authorities such as water companies.
SPEL’s extensive range of sizes covers most applications. There are seven shell specifications enabling installation at deep inverts and/or with high ground water.

Shell Design
Designed with reference to BS EN 13121. All tank shells carry the SPEL 25 Year Warranty and life expectancy in excess of 50 years.
Shell Specifications
Different tank shell specifications are available dependent upon tank invert levels, ground conditions and ground water levels. (See Installation Guidance section)
