Model Q2050 Series -Wall Mount Enclosures

The Q2050 Wall Mount Enclosure Series using R8471 controller technology are designed for easy field installation of a comprehensive gas detection system. These enclosures are designed for a NEMA 4X rating and are available in two sizes. They are pre-assembled with any combination of up to six single channel gas controllers mounted within, including those for combustible, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, chlorine and oxygen gas detection. The enclosures can be supplied with a power supply that is pre-wired to the controller input power connections, or controller input power (+24 vdc) can be brought in from outside the enclosure and wired directly to the controllers.

The enclosures are made of fiberglass with a door that features a full view polycarbonate window and a stainless steel hinge and twist locks. Wiring access holes can be drilled at the time of installation or the enclosure can be provided with pre-drilled holes with watertight conduit fittings installed, as specified.

Installation of the Q2050 Series Enclosures with gas controllers involves mounting the enclosure, drilling a wiring access hole (if not custom drilled), installing appropriate hardware, then proceeding with the usual gas detection system wiring (providing input power, connecting the gas sensors to the controller, and connecting annunciating/ indicating/alarm response devices to the controller outputs). Two enclosure sizes are available:

Q2050 and Q2051
