Calibration Services
It is recommended that you calibrate measurement products on a regular basis in order to validate data quality and documentation, minimise the risk of errors and reduce the associated costs.
Brüel & Kjær offers a comprehensive range of calibration services to meet national and international requirements covering:
Accredited calibration including measurement results (recommended)
- Traceable to national institutes (DPLA, NIST, NPL, PTB)
- Proof that calibration is in accordance with ISO quality standard
- The certificate can be used as legally accepted documentation
Traceable calibration including measurement results
- Traceable to national institutes (DPLA, NIST, NPL, PTB)
Verification (no measurement results)
- Country-specific requirements (legal verification)
- Instrument specifications (conformance testing)
Hardware maintenance
- Repair by highly skilled technicians
- Extension of manufacturer’s warranty
The calibration laboratories are accredited in many regions, fulfilling the requirements of ISO-17025, A2LA (USA) and other standards. Brüel & Kjær offers primary calibration for transducers through the Danish Primary Laboratory of Acoustics (DPLA), and field calibration for LDS shakers. All work related to calibration services is carried out under the guidelines of ISO-17025 and ISO 9001.
To optimise uptime and minimise costs, we recommended that you combine calibration with a Hardware Maintenance Agreement.
