Calibration Services
Get accurate data with calibrated measurement instruments; Take advantage of our calibration technology – for new purchases as well as existing equipment. Regular calibration by Althen ensures that your sensors and testing equipment are working accurately. This is the only way to get meaningful, correct results over the long run. Our experienced experts can correct for deviations and document the results in a calibration certificate. We can support you not only with the calibration of standard sensors and test instruments, but also with special custom solutions.
In-house calibration laboratory for reliable metrology instruments
Unlike other sales companies in the metrology and sensor sector, at Althen you benefit from our in-house calibration laboratory. This is where we test the products we sell and set up our in-house products according to your specifications. For the physical properties of pressure, force and tilt, we can also offer certified factory calibrations according to ISO 9001 for sensors and measuring instruments. Measured data are compared exclusively with traceable measuring equipment.
DAkkS calibrations are available on request - also for other measurands and measuring ranges. The service includes a certificate traceable to standards of organizations such as PTB, NIST, DPLA or NPL.
Our Calibration Offer
- Force Sensors
- We calibrate force sensors with measuring ranges up to 120 kN tension/compression.
- Pressure Sensors
- We calibrate pressure sensors with measuring ranges of up to 700 bar.
- Inclination Sensors
- We calibrate inclinometers with measuring ranges up to +-70 degrees.
- Linear Position Sensors
- We calibrate displacement sensors with measuring ranges from 0 to 100 mm.
- Acceleration Sensors
- Frequencies: 0.1 Hz - 20 kHz
- Accelerations: 0.1 m/s² - 250 m/s
- Calibration of vibration transducers and calibrators (Vibration Transducers / Shakers) and Inertial Measurement Units (IMU)
