Design for Manufacturing Through In-House Design. Our engineering team – 15 professionals with varied expertise – often gets involved at a project’s very early stages. They help develop the best possible part, efficiently and economically. We use our expertise to help with design for manufacturing and create a partnership involving the customer, Stecker and the foundry. Here’s an overview of some of the services we provide: In-house design team/fixture building; able to provide designs/tooling in very short lead times. Cost-effective input on casting/machining designs prior to launch, including design review and APQP meetings. Rapid prototype services for cast and machine tools. In-house robotic and PLC programming. In addition, our continuous improvement team stays on top of the latest technologies, identifying relevant applications that could benefit our customers.
