Fire Flow Testing Services
For any proposed new water service or main extension, a fire flow test is required to determine if there is sufficient water available. The Commission will not use results from a previously conducted fire flow test to determine the availability of water in a given area.

Parties requiring a fire flow test should fill out the Fire Flow Test Application and return it to the Customer Field Services Office at 71 Colton Street, Springfield. Testing fees are:
- $200 per test during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- $400 per test during evenings, weekends, and holidays (only with prior Commission approval)
